We’re opening a position for a Junior Coffee Roaster to join us at Corridor Seven Coffee Roasters. This role is designed for an enthusiastic coffee professional (or aspiring one) who is eager to learn the craft of roasting, cupping, and production while working ly with our championship-level baristas and roasters. ##### Role and Responsibilities
- Roasting Operations
- Assist in daily roasting under supervision.
- Maintain roast logs & consistency.
- Learn & support roast profiling.
- Green Coffee Handling
- Assist with green coffee intake, storage & inventory.
- Participate in sample roasting & quality checks.
- Quality & Cupping
- Daily cuppings & record tasting notes.
- Contribute feedback on roast quality & improvements.
- Production & Packing
- Support weighing, grinding & packaging roasted coffee.
- Ensure timelines & accuracy in dispatch-ready coffee.
- Learning & Development
- Shadow senior roasters in advanced profiling.
- Understand SCA protocols, sensory evaluation & brewing impact.
- Collaboration
- Work ly with café, training & wholesale teams.
- Share feedback from roastery to café & client training sessions.
- KPIs
- Key Performance Indicators (First 6 Months)
- Learn & execute consistent roast protocols independently.
- Develop cupping vocabulary.
- Zero missed roasts or production delays.
