Role & responsibilities
Operate CNC turning machines for component manufacturing.
Set the job in the chuck and ensure proper clamping.
Select and set cutting tools as per job requirements.
Perform tool changing and tool offset adjustments.
Load and execute CNC programs.
Read engineering drawings and understand dimensions.
Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Bore Gauge.
Monitor machining operations and maintain accuracy.
Identify tool wear, machine issues and machining defects.
Maintain production targets and follow 5S.
