Purpose of the Role:

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, internal controls and compliance. The role ensures accurate financial records, effective cost management, timely reporting and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements while supporting stakeholders in strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Lead financial controllership and accounting operations.
- Manage group consolidation,



tax assessment, intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements including the Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Analyse financial performance, identify variances and provide insights to the Leadership and business teams.
- Coordinate with internal auditors, statutory auditors and other regulatory authorities for audits and financial reviews.
- Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Monitor financial risks, fraud risks and recommend corrective actions

Qualification and Experience

- Qualified/semi qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8 - 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Experience in managing and consolidating accounts.
- Experienced in process improvement and quality frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience in handling Big 4 Audit firms and possess knowledge of cross border transactions and payments.
- Candidates with the knowledge of tech enabled accounting systems and ERP implementation will be preferred.
