Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Manage the overall accounting and financial operations of the organization.

Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

B. Jewellery Inventory & Stock Accounting

Monitor and manage jewellery inventory accounting, including gold, silver, diamonds, and precious stones.

Ensure accurate stock valuation and reconciliation across branches.

Monitor gold metal transactions, bullion purchases, sales, and transfers.

Review accounting of karigar transactions, job work, wastage, making charges and manufacturing costs.

Ensure proper reconciliation of physical stock with book records.

Establish effective inventory control and audit mechanisms.

C. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Handle GST returns, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.

Ensure timely filing of GST returns and income tax returns.

Manage tax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits.

Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities.





Ensure compliance with applicable financial and taxation regulations.

D. Internal Audit & Financial Controls

Conduct periodic internal audits of stores and head office operations.

Identify financial discrepancies, control gaps, and process inefficiencies.

Implement strong financial controls to minimize errors and financial risks.

Review branch-level cash, stock, and financial transactions.

Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting procedures.

E. Banking & Financial Management

Oversee banking operations, fund management, and cash flow.

Monitor vendor payments, customer outstanding accounts, and receivable/payable.

Manage bank reconciliations and financial transactions.

Support management in financial planning and business decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

Solid knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial management.

Expertise in GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.

Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Advanced MS Excel and proficiency in accounting/ERP software.

Excellent communication and team management skills.

High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
