Tavant Technologies is looking for an experienced Associate Director - Information Systems (IS) to lead enterprise IT infrastructure, operations, governance, security, and transformation initiatives.

The role will own IT Operations, Microsoft 365 (M365), Entra ID, endpoint management, vendor management, technology procurement, budgeting, licensing, ITSM, security compliance, and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in managing enterprise IT environments while driving operational excellence, automation, cost optimization, and AI-led transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead enterprise IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring availability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
- Own and manage the Microsoft 365 (M365) ecosystem, including Entra ID, identity/access management, endpoint management, licensing, and renewals.
- Drive IT operations management, ITSM, monitoring, automation, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Strengthen IS governance, Information Security Management System (ISMS), SOC 2 compliance, security, risk management, and audit readiness.
- Lead technology procurement, vendor management, contract negotiations, licensing, and commercial optimization.
- Own IS budgeting, financial planning, cost management,



and technology investment decisions.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver infrastructure and transformation programs on time.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Lead and mentor IS teams while building strong ownership and accountability.
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation and governance controls.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in Enterprise IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Hands-on understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365)
- Experience with Entra ID, Identity & Access Management, and Endpoint Management
- Robust knowledge of IT Operations Management and ITSM
- Experience with ISMS, SOC 2, Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Strong expertise in Vendor Management and Technology Procurement
- Experience managing IT budgets, licensing, renewals, and commercial negotiations
- Knowledge of monitoring, automation, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Exposure to AI and emerging technologies for IT operations and transformation
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
