Job Description: E-commerce Manager D2C

Department: E-commerce

Reporting to: M D

Purpose of the Role

Own and scale Itsy Bitsy’s D2C Shopify website as a profitable sales channel. Drive revenue, traffic, and customer experience end-to-end.

1. Shopify Website P&L; Ownership

- Full ownership of D2C revenue targets, gross margin, and marketing ROAS from website
- Daily monitoring of sales, conversion rate, AOV, traffic via Shopify Analytics and GA4
- Plan & execute monthly/quarterly growth plan for website

2. Shopify Store Management & Merchandising

- Manage Shopify backend: product uploads, collections, pricing, discounts, bundles
- Ensure 100% catalog hygiene – no OOS products live, accurate images or descriptions
- Coordinate with design,ops for new launches to be live within 24 hrs of shoot
- Own Shopify apps: Search, Reviews, Loyalty, Subscription, Page Builder – optimize cost vs output

3. Performance Marketing for D2C

- Plan & execute Meta, Google, YouTube ads specifically for website traffic
- Maintain CAC 15% of AOV and blended ROAS 4.0




- Run retention campaigns via Email/SMS/WhatsApp using Klaviyo/WebEngage/Shopify Email
- A/B test landing pages, offers, creatives weekly

4. Conversion Rate Optimization CRO

- Improve Shopify theme UX, site speed, mobile experience.
- Reduce cart abandonment 65% through checkout optimization, payment options, trust badges
- Implement & test: upsells, cross-sells, sticky ATC, exit popups via Shopify apps
- Weekly audit of funnel

5. Tech, Logistics & CX

- Coordinate with Shopify developers/agency for bug fixes, recent features. P0 bugs 4 hrs TAT
- Integrate & monitor: Razorpay/Cashfree, Shiprocket/Delhivery, CRM, WMS
- Own RTO reduction: 15% RTO via address verification, COD confirmation workflows

6. Analytics & Reporting

- Daily dashboard: Revenue, Sessions, CR, ROAS, RTO to leadership
- Monthly MIS: Channel-wise CAC, cohort analysis, best sellers, campaign performance
- Present QBR with insights and next quarter roadmap
