Role: Logistics Manager
Location: Neelankarai, Chennai
Experience: 8-12 years

Role & responsibilities:

- Develops appropriate strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
- Executes best practices and measures performance through agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Directs and coordinates global/Local Logistics functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs, resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
- Determines the most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
- Works with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set the best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
- Determines best practices for freight in and freight consolidation.
- Supports proper utilization of -Business systems such as ERP.




- Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely reporting on KPIs with regard to domestic logistics & International Logistics along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
- Measure operational and financial performance, identify and mitigate risks.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Experience: 8-12 years. Prior experience in domestic & international logistics is preferable.
- Operational metrics, Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
- Master scheduling, Logistics and distribution, Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time-constrained environment.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Robust sense of time organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
