Designs and optimizes EHV switchyard and transmission line for all projects Prepares switchyard layout, SLD, EKD, cable schedule, cable trench layout, etc. Prepares technical specifications for Power transformers, PT, LA, BPI, Isolators, CRP, SAS, PLCC, FOTE system, Battery and aux system, SVG and harmonic filters Performs system calculations for earthing, DSLP, conductor sizing sag tension, short circuit force Reviews technical specification and coordinate for purchase requestions Understands grid code compliances and prepares required documents for reactive power study, power quality study, steady state and dynamic studies in PSS/E & PSCAD Reviews design documents and engineering drawings Collaborates with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely project delivery Conducts site visits to support system integration and troubleshooting
Job Requirements :
- 8-15 years of experience in substation design engineering or related field.
- Robust knowledge of 220kV/400kV switchyards and power distribution systems.
