We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop LV Switchgear products such as MCCB, ACB, MCB, Changeover Switches, Isolators and Distribution Products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for LV Switchgear products.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CATIA / Creo (Pro-E).
- Handle mechanism design, assembly validation and GD&T.;
- Work on plastic, sheet metal and metallic components.
- Perform reverse engineering and product improvement.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Production, Quality and Tool Room teams.
- Support prototype development, testing and NPD.
- Prepare engineering drawings, BOM and technical documentation.
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of CATIA / Creo.
- Mechanical Product Design & Development.
- GD&T; and Tolerance Stack-up.
- Plastic Injection Moulding and Sheet Metal Design.
- Mechanism Design and Electro-mechanical Assemblies.
- Reverse Engineering and Manufacturing Knowledge.
Preferred Industry:
