About the Company:
Our client is a prominent, UAE-based travel conglomerate and one of the largest travel companies in the Middle East. With rapidly expanding wider Middle East Countries, Our client Indian headquarters is located in Kochi, Kerala.

Role Overview:
Our Client is seeking a high-caliber, strategic financial professional to lead the entire finance function for the Indian operations as Head - Finance. This critical leadership role reports directly to the Group CFO in the UAE and the local CEO.

The ideal candidate will have total operational ownership over financial accounting, compliance, banking, treasury, and internal financial controls, bridging cross-border financial strategies with execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Take complete ownership of the end-to-end accounting and financial control functions for the India entity.
- Supervise, review, and streamline day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Prepare and publish accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheets, and Multi-Currency Cash Flow Statements).
- Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Develop robust Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and deep financial analysis for corporate decision-making.
- Monitor complex revenue recognition patterns, expense allocations, accruals, and provisions.

2. Corporate Governance, Taxation & SEZ Compliance

- Ensure strict institutional compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS/IGAAP) and internal corporate policies.
- Oversee all Direct and Indirect Tax matters,



with deep emphasis on GST compliance and filing.
- Manage mandatory statutory compliances unique to SEZ units and STPI regulations.
- Lead and coordinate all external, internal, and statutory audits smoothly.

3. Treasury, Banking & Inter-Company Operations

- Manage working capital, optimize treasury functions, and monitor multi-border funding requirements.
- Establish and leverage deep relationships with premier banking partners.
- Manage complex inter-company transactions, transfer pricing mechanisms, and cross-border financial reconciliations with the UAE headquarters.

4. Leadership & Team Management

- Nurture, mentor, and scale a high-performing local team of accounting and finance professionals.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and foster an environment of high accountability and transparency.

Candidate Profile:

- Education: Mandatorily qualified CA / CMA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), with at least 5 years in a definitive corporate leadership/headship role.
- Industry Preference: Prior experience within Travel, Tourism, Aviation, or Hospitality sectors will be considered a definitive advantage. Open to other industry also.
- Technical Skills: Deep exposure to cross-border transfer pricing, corporate governance, funding management, and SEZ regulatory frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent leadership traits, and exceptional communication skills necessary to collaborate with overseas executive stakeholders.
- Travel : Must be willing to travel domestic and overseas on business demands
