Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Junior PLC Programmer to join our automation team at one of our clients automotive manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC and HMI systems across shop-floor assembly and production lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and optimize PLC logic programs (ladder logic, functional blocks) to ensure seamless line operations.
- Design and configure HMI screens, alarms, and operator interfaces.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, system backups, and on-site troubleshooting for control panels and automation equipment.
- Diagnose hardware/software faults, sensor issues, and network communication errors to minimize production downtime.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance,



and quality teams during machine commissioning and line modifications.
- Maintain technical documentation, I/O lists, and program version control records.

Key Requirements & Skills

- Technical Skills: Hands-on programming and troubleshooting experience with Siemens (TIA Portal / Step 7) or Allen Bradley (Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000).
- HMI / SCADA: Experience in HMI screen development and tag integration (WinCC, FactoryTalk View, etc.).
- Hardware & Protocols: Valuable understanding of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP), field sensors, drives (VFDs), and safety interlocks.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Work Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shifts to support continuous automotive plant operations.
