We are looking for an experienced AGM Procurement who can independently lead and manage the end-to-end procurement function, with strong expertise in Fire Protection Systems (FPS) materials and established vendor relationships in the Fire Protection industry

Key Responsibilities:

- Fire Protection Material Procurement: Lead end-to-end procurement of Fire Protection System materials, including Fire Pumps, Sprinklers, Valves, Pipes, Hydrants, Hose Reels, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarm Systems and related accessories.

- Vendor Network & Development: Must have established contacts and strong working relationships with reputed manufacturers, authorized distributors, dealers and suppliers in the Fire Protection industry. Continuously develop new vendors and alternative sourcing channels.

- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, credit periods and delivery schedules to achieve maximum cost savings.

- Project Procurement & Planning: Coordinate with Design, Projects and Operations teams to understand project requirements, prepare material procurement plans and ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.

- Cost Optimization: Drive procurement cost reduction initiatives, conduct price benchmarking, prepare comparative statements and ensure purchases within approved budgets.

- Inventory & Stores Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with Stores, optimize stock utilization and minimize excess inventory, dead stock and material wastage.

- Vendor Performance Management: Evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines and service standards. Ensure continuous improvement in supplier performance.

- Procurement MIS & Process Management: Establish procurement SOPs,



approval workflows and MIS dashboards to track purchase orders, pending deliveries, vendor performance, material costs and cost savings.

Required Experience & Skills:

- Graduate / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or any relevant specialization. MBA in Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain Management.
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in procurement of Fire Protection / Fire Fighting System materials.
- Mandatory: Established vendor network and contacts with reputed Fire Protection material manufacturers, distributors, dealers and suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of Fire Protection materials, brands, technical specifications, pricing and market availability.
- Proven experience in project-based procurement, preferably in Fire Protection / MEP contracting companies.
- Robust expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development and commercial negotiations.
- Experience in project-wise material planning, inventory management and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience with ERP / Procurement Management Software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, procurement trackers and MIS reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently lead the procurement function and manage a team.

Note: Candidates without practical experience in Fire Protection System material procurement and established vendor relationships in the FPS segment will not be considered.
