Job Profile / Role Summary

Role Summary :
The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and compliance with established accounting policies and controls. The role involves managing day-to-day team deliverables, reviewing key financial activities, resolving escalations, partnering with stakeholders, and supporting month-end close activities to ensure efficient service delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Team Supervision & Work Management

Oversee day-to-day AP/AR activities, allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

- Transaction Review & Quality Assurance

Review accounting transactions, invoices, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies and procedures.

- Reconciliation Oversight & Account Analysis

Oversee vendor and balance sheet reconciliations,



analyse variances, and drive timely resolution of outstanding reconciling items.

- Exception & Escalation Management

Manage process exceptions, complex accounting issues, and stakeholder escalations, ensuring risks are identified and addressed promptly.

- Controls, Compliance & Governance

Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements while fostering a strong control setting.

- Stakeholder & Team Coordination

Act as the primary liaison for hotels, and internal stakeholders, while providing guidance and support to team members on process-related matters.

- Month-End Close & Continuous Improvement

Lead month-end activities, review critical reconciliations and schedules, and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
