Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of supply chain enterprise software implementation projects. This includes managing the project scope, timeline, budget, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the customer's satisfaction. The Project Manager works closely with the customer, project team, and other stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control all aspects of the project.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
- Manage the project team, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and support
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to the customer and stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
- Manage project changes and ensure that the project scope remains aligned with the customer's requirements
- Facilitate project meetings and workshops to gather requirements, design solutions, and resolve issues
- Manage the project budget and ensure that expenses are tracked and controlled
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the customer's quality standards and acceptance criteria
- Manage the project closure process, including conducting lessons learned and archiving project documentation
- Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, including communicating effectively, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts




- Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team, and foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, IT, procurement) to ensure end-to-end integration of supply chain solutions.
- Monitor vendor and third-party performance, ensuring contractual obligations and SLAs are met.
- Leverage analytics and reporting tools to provide insights into project performance
- Deliberate and structured way of thinking resulting in effective cross-functional delivery.
- Managing and tailoring communication across various stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on supply chain enterprise solutions
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, stakeholders, and team members at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Strong change management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred
