We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Odoo Accountant with strong Odoo knowledge to support our accounting operations remotely. Experience with Odoo accounting in Germany is a robust advantage.
About the role:
You will be responsible to maintain accurate financial records, manage day-to-day accounting activities in Odoo, and support reliable reporting and compliance. This is a remote, part-time opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities using Odoo Accounting.
- Record and review invoices, bills, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and help maintain accurate accounting records.
- Review transactions for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate documentation.
- Support finance processes in line with relevant accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with colleagues to resolve accounting and Odoo-related queries.
- Help improve accounting workflows and make effective use of Odoo.
Advantageous experience:
- Experience using Odoo for accounting in Germany.
- Familiarity with German accounting processes and requirements.
- Experience supporting VAT-related accounting and financial documentation in Germany.
