Role & responsibilities

- Drive IEC campaigns to build awareness and encourage long-term behavioural change among waste generators.

- Address queries, concerns, and resistance from stakeholders through effective communication and engagement.

- Plan and conduct workshops, awareness sessions, orientation programmes, and interactive demonstrations for BWGs.

- Conduct regular field visits to assess the implementation of source segregation practices at BWG premises.

- Maintain records of door-to-door outreach, workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder interactions.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in Mass Communication, Communications, Social Work, Environmental Studies, Development Studies, or any related discipline.

- 13 years of experience in IEC activities, community mobilisation, field outreach, awareness campaigns, or waste management projects

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

- Confident in conducting door-to-door outreach, community workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns.
