Role: Senior Business Development Manager

Key Requirements:

- Strong leadership skills to manage a team, with a skilled and growth-oriented mindset.

- Experience in client onboarding and relationship management.

- Proven ability to acquire new clients.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

- Good exposure and basic understanding of financial products such as Credit Ratings, Equity (Private and Public), and Fund Raising.

- Responsible for origination of rating business and fundraising for mid to large corporate groups within the assigned region.

- Maintain and enhance strong relationships with existing clients while acquiring new ones.

- Identify unrated clients and facilitate their transition to rated status and leverage ratings for fundraising.

- Build MIS and market intelligence on competitors; prepare geography-wise and service-wise sales plans and achieve targets.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of client industries, including trends, business processes, financial metrics, and key competitors.

Strategic Role:

- Lead and train the business development team.

- Identify potential market segments.





- Drive revenue generation through new account development and key account management.

Operational Role:

- Handle the BD team and coordinate with execution teams.

- Demonstrate strong presentation and closing skills.

- Achieve assigned sales targets.

- Define and execute marketing processes.

- Develop relevant business proposals.

- Monitor market intelligence including market developments, new projects, competitive activity, and new customers.

- Manage client relationships.

- Provide training to the sales team as required.

- Monitor and evaluate sales team performance and guide them toward objectives.

Organizational Role:

- Enhance organizational effectiveness by implementing appropriate marketing strategies.

- Demonstrate consistent follow-through and resourcefulness to achieve organizational goals.

- Report directly to and work closely with top management.
