We are looking for a technically skilled and motivated Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair packaging machinery at customer locations. The candidate should have basic technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel for field service assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain packaging machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machines.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve machine breakdowns.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine machine inspections.
- Identify faulty components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding machine operation and maintenance.
- Travel to customer locations as required for installation and service activities.
- Coordinate with the Service, Sales,
and Stores departments for spare parts and service requirements.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and customer feedback.
- Follow company safety procedures and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Ensure timely completion of service assignments and maintain customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and machinery.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic tools and testing equipment.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for field service.
