Big Yellow Door Cafe is looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dedicated Pizza Chef Helper to assist the pizza chef with daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food, basic kitchen knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Pizza Chef in preparing and making pizzas.
- Prepare and arrange ingredients, toppings, sauces, and vegetables.
- Assist with dough preparation, portioning, and pizza base preparation.
- Maintain proper food quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the pizza preparation station.
- Follow kitchen recipes, portion sizes, and standard procedures.
- Maintain proper storage and labelling of ingredients.
- Check stock availability and inform the chef about shortages.
- Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours.




- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

- Requirements0–1.5 years of experience in a cafe, restaurant, or kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation is preferred.
- Interest in pizza making and Italian cuisine.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
- Hardworking, punctual, and disciplined.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
