Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maintenance Technician with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in tool room operations, die maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production tools and dies, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations and minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools, dies and fixtures.
- Handle die dismantling, cleaning, inspection, repair and reassembly.
- Perform grinding, sharpening, fitting and adjustment of tool components.
- Identify and replace damaged components such as punches, inserts, springs and guide pins.
- Troubleshoot die-related production issues, including burrs, dimensional variations and tool jamming.
- Operate tool room machines such as surface grinders, milling machines, lathes and drilling machines.




- Read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Maintain tooling records and follow safety and 5S practices.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience in Tool & Die Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Press Tools, Die Repair and Tool Room Operations.
- Experience in Grinding, Milling, Lathe and Mechanical Fitting.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Valuable mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or tool room operations.
