ABOUT THE ROLE:
A Bike Inspection Engineer is responsible for checking, testing, and certifying bikes to make sure they’re safe, compliant, and road-worthy before sale, use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inspect frame integrity (cracks, welds, alignment)
2. Check brakes, suspension, steering, wheels, engine
3. Inspect drivetrain (chain, gears, sprockets)
4. Verify torque settings and fasteners
5. Test electrical systems (e-bikes: battery, motor, wiring)
6. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
7. Perform road or bench tests
8.
Document inspection results and issue pass/fail reports
9. Recommend repairs or replacements
KEY REQUIREMENT:
1. 1-2 years of Strong mechanical knowledge of bikes or motorcycles
2. Understanding of materials (aluminium, carbon fiber, steel)
3. Ability to read technical drawings/specs
4. Familiarity with inspection tools (callipers, torque wrenches, gauges)
5. Attention to detail (tiny faults matter ?)
6. Problem-solving and clear reporting
7. Basic electrical knowledge (for e-bikes or modern motorcycles)
