About the Role

Homemade Love is looking for a creative, organised Video Editor to turn footage from our upcoming social media shoots into engaging, polished videos. You’ll work closely with our creative and marketing teams on recipe videos, product stories, founder-led content, behind-the-scenes footage and other social media formats. This role requires a fast-paced workflow, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple edits while maintaining our brand’s warm, authentic style.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media videos from supplied footage, scripts and creative briefs.
- Deliver 4–5 short-form edits per working day, with priorities and timelines aligned to video complexity and revision requirements.
- Create solid openings, clear storytelling and engaging pacing.
- Add subtitles, music, sound effects, transitions and basic motion graphics where needed.
- Handle colour correction, audio cleanup and consistent visual treatment across videos.
- Incorporate feedback promptly and prepare final exports in the required formats.
- Organise footage,



project files and exports so work can be reviewed and handed over easily.
- Coordinate remotely with the creative lead and shoot team, flagging missing footage or other blockers early.
- Follow brand guidelines and use appropriately licensed music and assets.

What We’re Looking For

- A portfolio demonstrating strong short-form video editing and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; familiarity with After Effects is a plus.
- A good understanding of social media pacing, subtitles, sound design and visual hooks.
- An efficient workflow using templates, presets, proxies and organised project structures.
- The ability to meet daily deadlines without compromising accuracy or quality.
- Clear communication, responsiveness during working hours and the ability to work independently.
- A suitable editing computer, reliable internet and the ability to manage large footage transfers.
- Experience editing food, recipe or lifestyle content is a plus.
