Role Overview

As a TAC Engineer / Senior TAC Engineer, you will provide technical assistance to global enterprise customers,

troubleshoot networking and security issues, and drive timely resolution of customer-reported problems. You will work closely with customers, Engineering, Product and other support teams to diagnose and resolve issues across Versa's product portfolio.

The role requires strong networking fundamentals, analytical thinking, customer communication skills and the ability to investigate problems systematically.

Key Responsibilities

Technical troubleshooting and case management

- Handle and resolve technical support cases involving networking, routing, switching, security,



SD-WAN and SASE.
- Analyze customer-reported issues, identify root causes and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, traffic forwarding, VPN and application accessibility issues.
- Perform packet-level analysis using tcpdump, Wireshark and other diagnostic utilities; analyze system logs and debug outputs.
- Manage assigned support cases independently, maintain customer communication and drive issues to resolution within defined SLAs.

Versa product support

- Develop hands-on expertise in Versa products, including VOS, Versa Director, Versa Analytics, Concerto and Versa SASE.
- Troubleshoot SD-WAN overlay connectivity, IPsec tunnels, routing adjacencies, application traffic and security policies.
- Assist customers with configuration, deployment, upgrades and troubleshooting of Versa appliances.
- Build an understanding of product architecture and interactions between control plane, data plane and management components.

Collaboration, escalation and continuous improvement

- Collaborate with Engineering to investigate potential product defects, validate fixes and confirm workarounds.
- Collect relevant logs, packet captures and diagnostic information before escalating issues; reproduce problems in lab environments when required.
- Contribute to root cause analysis, knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
- Share technical learnings and recommend improvements to support processes and customer experience.
