Role Description The Student Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune District, supporting the activities of the localhost Dev Community at IIIT Pune. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating events and workshops, assisting in managing project workflows, and helping maintain communication channels such as email groups, social media, or internal platforms.

The Student

Assistant will also support documentation of community activities, maintain records of participation, and assist in creating basic content such as announcements or reports.



Additional tasks may involve collaborating with student teams, providing logistical support for sessions, and gathering feedback to improve community initiatives.

Qualifications

- Possess foundational technical skills or strong interest in software development, programming, or related technology domains.
- Demonstrate organizational and coordination skills to support events, workshops, and project activities.
- Have effective communication skills for drafting announcements, documenting activities, and engaging with community members.
- Exhibit teamwork, reliability, and a cooperative mindset when working with students, mentors, and organizing committees.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, handle multiple tasks, and take initiative in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Currently enrolled as a student at IIIT Pune or familiar with academic settings; prior experience in campus clubs or communities is an advantage.
- Basic familiarity with common productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and online collaboration platforms.
