About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to join our Study Abroad team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with overseas education consultancies and a strong understanding of international education pathways, university applications, and admission processes.

You will be responsible for guiding students through their study abroad journey, helping them identify suitable universities and courses, and supporting them throughout the application and admission process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counselling: Understand students' academic backgrounds, career aspirations, budgets, and preferences to recommend suitable study abroad opportunities.
2. University & Course Guidance: Provide guidance on universities, courses, countries, eligibility criteria, tuition fees, and admission requirements.
3. Application Management: Assist students with university shortlisting, application preparation, documentation, and submission.
4. Admission Follow-ups: Coordinate with universities and admission representatives to track application progress and ensure timely updates.
5. Visa Guidance: Guide students through the student visa application process, documentation, and interview preparation.
6. Student Relationship Management:



Maintain regular communication with students and parents, addressing queries and ensuring a smooth counselling experience.
7. Lead Management: Follow up with prospective students, manage counselling pipelines, and convert enquiries into successful enrolments.
8. Process Coordination: Maintain student records, application trackers, and admission-related documentation.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of prior experience working with overseas education or study abroad consultancies.
- Strong understanding of international admission processes and study abroad destinations.
- Experience in student counselling, university applications, and admission follow-ups.
- Knowledge of student visa processes and documentation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple student applications and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Robust student relationship management and conversion skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience counselling students for destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and Europe.
- Familiarity with university application portals and admission processes.
- Experience working with university representatives and international admission teams
