Qualification

Bachelors degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognized University

Area of Experience

1.Review the Design and analyze structural steel buildings, warehouses, platforms, pipe racks, mezzanines, canopies, industrial structures, and other steel structures.

2.Develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.

3.Prepare general arrangement drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, assembly drawings, erection drawings, and connection details.

4.Prepare structural calculations and design reports using STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or other approved structural analysis software.

5.Design steel members, bolted and welded connections, base plates, anchor bolts, bracing systems, and supporting elements.

6.Generate material take-offs, BOQs, cutting lists, bolt lists, and CNC/NC fabrication files from Tekla.

7.Review client drawings, project specifications, design criteria, and applicable codes before starting the design.

8.Ensure compliance with AISC, ASCE, IBC, and AWS standards and project requirements.

9.Coordinate with estimation, procurement, production, fabrication, quality,



and site erection teams.

10.Review and check shop drawings, connection details, and Tekla models before issuing them for fabrication.

11.Optimize steel structures to achieve safety, constructability, material efficiency, and cost-effective solutions.

12.Resolve design, fabrication, and erection-related technical issues and respond to RFIs.

13.Prepare design revisions and as-built drawings in accordance with approved site modifications.

14.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding technical comments and approvals.

15.Maintain proper document control and ensure drawings are issued according to the project schedule.

16.Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and site erection activities. Additional certification : Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, Solid proficiency in AutoCAD., Professional experience in at least one structural analysis program, such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis. Codes Knowledge : AISC, ASCE, IBC, and AWS standards
