Project Role : Silicon Firmware & Embedded Engineer

Project Role Description : Write the software that powers and operates a silicon chip. Develop pre-silicon firmware and software with a direct interface to hardware. Integrate and develop C tests/APIs and software build flow. Perform design and code reviews. Test and validate product implementations.

Summary

As a Silicon Firmware and Embedded Engineer, your day involves crafting the software that drives and controls silicon chips. You will focus on developing firmware and software before the silicon is finalized, ensuring seamless interaction with the hardware. Your work includes integrating and creating tests and application programming interfaces, managing software build processes, and engaging in thorough design and code evaluations.

Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and validating the implemented products to ensure they meet the required standards and function as intended within the system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align firmware development with hardware specifications and project timelines.
- Document design decisions, test results, and code changes to maintain clear communication and traceability.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on embedded software development practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Embedded C++.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems.
- Experience with hardware-software integration and debugging at the silicon level.
- Familiarity with software build systems and continuous integration tools.




- Ability to perform detailed code reviews and implement best coding practices.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and validation techniques for embedded firmware.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Embedded C++.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
