Senior Software Systems Engineer - Cloud Networking and Microservices Company: Extreme Networks India Private Limited Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Employment Type: Full time Experience Required: 8 - 13 years Salary: 12L18L a year STAFF SW SYSTEMS ENGINEER 10302-Cloud Networking & Microservices (Java/Golang, AWS/Azure) : Experience : 8-13 Years Key Responsibilities Technically lead the sustenance team responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing Network Automation and Orchestration products. Own the overall sustenance engineering lifecycle, including defect resolution, product enhancements, maintenance releases, and associated design, code, and unit/integration test artifacts. Drive engineering excellence through effective debugging, root-cause analysis, code quality, regression testing, and automation of repetitive maintenance activities.

Analyse production issues and customer-reported defects, establish root causes, and drive timely resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Mentor team members on troubleshooting, design principles, coding standards, testing practices, and effective problem-solving. Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, QA, Customer Support, and other engineering teams to ensure end-to-end resolution of product issues and successful delivery of enhancements.
