Position Details

Role: Rust Developer - AI Evaluation Engineer

Experience: 2+ Years

Location: India

Mode: Remote

Employment Type: Freelance/Part-time

Contract Duration: 4 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Mandatory Skills

- 2+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Rust
- Experience with Git, Docker, and repository setup
- Ability to understand and navigate complex codebases
- Experience running, modifying, debugging, and testing applications locally
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

- Open-source contribution experience




- LLM/AI evaluation projects
- Experience with developer tools, CI/CD, or automation frameworks

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and triage GitHub issues in open-source projects
- Configure repositories and development environments
- Evaluate code quality and unit test coverage
- Execute, modify, and test Rust codebases
- Assess LLM-generated bug fixes and code changes
- Collaborate with researchers on challenging AI evaluation tasks

Availability Requirement

- Minimum 40 hours per week
- At least 4 hours overlap with PST timezone
- Immediate joining preferred

Eligibility

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
