Job Description

We are looking for a Crewing Officer with experience in Marine Crewing / Ship Manning operations to manage crew planning, mobilisation, documentation and coordination for allocated vessels.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely crew deployment, seafarer welfare, regulatory compliance and smooth coordination with vessel teams, clients and manning agents.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage crew planning, rotation, mobilisation and timely crew replacements for allocated vessels.
- Coordinate interviews and screening of Ratings and Junior Officers.
- Ensure vessels are adequately manned with qualified and competent seafarers.
- Verify crew CVs, certificates, visas and other statutory documents.
- Prepare employment contracts and maintain accurate crew records in MariApps.
- Coordinate flight tickets, hotel bookings, visas, invitation letters and mandatory training.
- Ensure timely crew sign-on/sign-off updates and crew relief arrangements.




- Maintain regular communication with seafarers, vessel Masters, clients and manning agents.
- Monitor crew welfare, performance appraisals and competency records.
- Coordinate crew payroll, wage administration and budget monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with ISM, ISO, Flag State and client requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance for agency invoices, disbursements and billing discrepancies.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in Marine Crewing / Ship Manning / Seafarer Coordination.
- Knowledge of crew planning, crew rotation and vessel mobilisation.
- Understanding of maritime documentation, certificates, visas and Flag State requirements.
- Familiarity with ISM and ISO compliance.
- Knowledge of MariApps or similar crewing software is preferred.
- Robust coordination, communication and documentation skills.
