Position: Senior Engineer - Customer Quality Assurance (CQA)

- Location: Rajkot, Gujarat
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
- Experience: 4-7 Years
- Industry: Transformer / Solar / Electrical Appliances / Consumer Durables / Fan Manufacturing

Key Skills & Competencies

- Robust experience in Customer Quality Assurance (CQA) and Customer Complaint Handling
- Hands-on expertise in 8D, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 7 QC Tools, FMEA, SPC & MSA
- Experience in warranty claim analysis, field failure investigation and quality improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of OEM PPAP, customer audits, quality systems and compliance requirements
- Good understanding of product testing, outgoing quality assurance and inspection processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, quality reporting and MIS preparation

Job Responsibilities

- Handle customer complaints and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with cross-functional teams
- Prepare and submit 8D reports with effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Analyze field failures, warranty returns and recurring product quality issues
- Monitor Field Failure Rate (FFR), warranty costs and customer satisfaction metrics
- Coordinate with Production,



Quality, Maintenance, R&D; and Customer Service teams to resolve quality concerns
- Manage outgoing quality inspections, sampling plans and pre-dispatch audits
- Lead OEM customer audits and ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements
- Coordinate PPAP documentation and ensure timely submission to OEM customers
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce customer complaints, warranty claims and quality defects
