Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer - Full Stack with solid expertise in Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with a Silicon Valley product startup building scalable SaaS products for the construction technology domain.

Responsibilities :

- Work closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. :

- Build scalable and maintainable backend services using Ruby on Rails :

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems :

- Design event-driven and serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and messaging systems :

- Contribute to system architecture, scalability, performance optimization, security, and engineering best practices :

- Develop backend services and utilities using Golang and NodeJS, where applicable :

- Utilize AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and developer productivity :





- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions :

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to support reliable deployments :

- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team

Required Skills & Experience : Must Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails :

- Strong hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS :

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, RESTful APIs, Distributed Systems, and Microservices Architecture :

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB :

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI :

- Experience using AI-powered developer tools and Agentic Coding workflows :

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies :

- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills :

- Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers

Good to Have Skills :

- Good hands-on experience with Golang :

- Good hands-on experience with NodeJS :

- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and RDS :
