About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to support fabric sourcing, vendor coordination, product listing, and day-to-day merchandising activities. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in the fashion/apparel industry and eager to learn about fabric management and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fabric Sourcing Support

- Assist in identifying and coordinating with fabric suppliers as per requirements.
- Support the design and production team in fabric follow-ups and sampling.
- Maintain and update the fabric library and swatch records.

- Costing & Vendor Coordination

- Help collect fabric quotations and maintain price comparison sheets.
- Follow up with vendors for timelines, dispatch, and approvals.
- Support senior merchandisers in negotiation and cost tracking.

- Documentation & Product Listing

- Maintain updated vendor databases and fabric records.
- Prepare and update T&A; (Time & Action) sheets.




- Assist in product listing on online platforms and POS systems with accurate descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Ensure proper documentation for orders and deliveries.

- Operations & Reporting

- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for fabric availability.
- Provide regular status updates to reporting managers.
- Support smooth day-to-day merchandising operations.

Key Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in any field (Textile/Fashion background preferred but not mandatory).

Experience : 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, sourcing, or apparel industry (Freshers with relevant internship experience can apply).

Technical Knowledge :

- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory software (Zoho preferred) is an added advantage.

Skills :

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the fashion industry.
- Positive time management and follow-up skills.
