EY GDS - Delivery Excellence Senior position

Job Title: Manager - Python Full Stack Engineering

Experience : 7+ years

Domain Preference :BFSI (Banking / Capital Markets / FSO)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor.ai, Replit, GitHub Copilot or equivalent)



to enhance engineering productivity.

- Expertise in developing AI use cases

- Architect and build microservices-based solutions using Python and modern frameworks.

- Develop and integrate real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka. :

- Design scalable and resilient systems leveraging cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). :

- Work closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders in Banking/FSO/Capital Markets domain .

- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, performance, and DevOps pipelines. :

- Mentor and manage a team of developers; foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design.

- Drive Agile delivery practices across the team.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

- Strong experience in Python Full Stack Development :

- Backend: Python, FastAPI/Django, Microservices

- Frontend: Modern JS frameworks (basic exposure acceptable if backend-heavy)

- Hands-on exposure to AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor.ai / GitHub Copilot / Replit or equivalent)

- Expertise in Apache Kafka / event-driven architecture :

- Strong knowledge of databases :

- Relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

- Good to have - NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) :

- Containerization (Docker)

- Orchestration (Kubernetes)

- Cloud-native services

- CI/CD,



Other DevOps tools and practices

- Frontend expertise in Angular / React :

- Exposure to Replit or similar developer environments :

Education
