GCP Application Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary : Job Summary : Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform .
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources.
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) .
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using GCP‑native and third‑party tools.
- Enforce security standards, IAM policies, and compliance requirements.
- Perform regular system upgrades and patch management.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as:

- Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring & Logging

- Proven experience with Terraform (modules, state management, remote backends).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build).

- Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems .

- Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Bash .

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers).

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools .




- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices .
- Experience with cost optimization and FinOps on GCP .
- Exposure to multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments .
- GCP certifications (Associate or Professional) are a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- 1. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical solutions and architecture for gcp projects.

- 1. Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and provide technical guidance to the development team.

- 1. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Skill Requirements :

- 1. Proficiency in google cloud platform services such as compute engine, app engine, cloud storage, bigquery, and cloud functions.

- 1. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containers, and container orchestration tools like kubernetes on gcp.

- 1. Handson experience in designing and implementing restful apis and integrating third-party services on gcp.

- 1. Knowledge of ci/cd pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure as code (iac) on gcp.

- 1. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

- Other Requirements :

- 1.Google Qualified Cloud Developer certification is preferred.
