Australian Accountant

Location : Surat, Gujarat Industry : Offshore Accounting & Bookkeeping Services Salary : ₹50,000 - ₹55,000 per month Experience : 3-5 Years in Australian Accounting Work Mode : Work from Office

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing accounting and bookkeeping activities for Australian clients and ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for Australian clients.
- Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations .
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable .
- Prepare and review BAS, GST and IAS .
- Assist with Australian tax returns and compliance requirements.
- Prepare month-end and year-end accounts and financial statements.
- Handle month-end adjustments, accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
- Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for Australian clients.
- Review financial data and identify discrepancies or accounting issues.
- Communicate directly with Australian clients and respond to accounting queries.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Support senior accountants and managers with complex accounting and client assignments.





Must-Have Skills

- 3-5 years of relevant Australian Accounting experience .
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting & Taxation .
- Hands-on experience with Xero / QuickBooks Online / MYOB .
- Good understanding of BAS, GST, IAS and Australian compliance .
- Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills.
- Excellent English communication skills , both written and verbal.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple Australian client accounts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
