About the Role We are hiring an Accountant for our Shipping & Logistics LLP company who can independently manage day-to-day accounting operations with strong command over Tally ERP / Tally Prime. This role is best suited for someone who is disciplined, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment where timely accounting and operational coordination are important. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations Handle complete accounting operations in Tally ERP / Tally Prime Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions Pass accounting entries including: Sales Entries Purchase Entries Payment Entries Receipt Entries Journal Entries Contra Entries Maintain ledgers, vouchers, cash book, and bank book accurately Perform bank reconciliation and account verification Billing & Documentation Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and billing records Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing system Ensure all financial records are updated regularly in Tally GST & Compliance Support Handle GST-related accounting entries Maintain purchase and sales records for GST purposes Coordinate for accounting data required for tax filing and compliance Operational Coordination Coordinate with internal departments for payment follow-ups and documentation Support management with accounting reports and financial updates Handle workload efficiently during high-pressure operational periods Mandatory Requirements Robust practical knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime is compulsory Must have experience in day-to-day accounting operations Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks within deadlines Good understanding of accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping Basic GST knowledge required Good accuracy and attention to detailGraduation completed (Commerce background preferred) 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred Experience in shipping, logistics, transport, or trading industry will be an added advantage Responsible, disciplined, and committed towards work Good communication and coordination skills Salary & Benefits Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹35,000 per month Salary will depend on experience and practical accounting skills Opportunity to work in a growing shipping & logistics company Professional and stable work environment Pay: ₹20,531.55 - ₹35,014.68 per month Application Question(s): - Which version of Tally have you worked on — Tally ERP or Tally Prime?
