Delivery and Support Staff

Job Purpose

To ensure timely delivery of products inside the university campus, support daily kiosk operations, assist in stock movement and storage, maintain cleanliness, and help the counter staff for smooth day-to-day functioning of the outlet.

Main Responsibilities1. Product Delivery

- Deliver customer orders within the university campus on time
- Ensure all deliveries are made correctly and without delay
- Handle fridge items, dairy products, and cold items carefully during delivery
- Ensure that temperature-sensitive items are delivered quickly so they do not spoil
- Confirm that the correct product and quantity reach the customer
- Maintain polite behavior with customers while delivering orders

1. Product Handling and Stock Movement

- Receive incoming stock and place it properly inside the kiosk
- Shift products safely from storage area to freezer, shelf, or counter as required
- Help arrange products properly in freezers, shelves, and storage spaces
- Ensure products are not damaged during loading, unloading, shifting, or delivery
- Help maintain order in stored inventory

- Inventory Support

- Keep track of available products and inform when stock becomes low
- Help count daily available stock
- Assist in checking expiry dates
- Support in ensuring products are sold before expiry
- Help reduce spoilage, leakage, breakage, or wastage
- Report damaged or near-expiry goods immediately

- Outlet Support Work

- Help the counter staff during rush hours
- Assist in packing products properly
- Bring required items quickly from storage/freezer to the counter
- Support in organizing shelves and work areas
- Help in opening and closing tasks of the kiosk

- Cleanliness and Hygiene

- Help keep the inside and outside of the kiosk clean
- Clean delivery-related trays, boxes, or carrying items if used
- Ensure storage areas, shelves, and working corners remain neat
- Maintain hygiene while handling food, beverages, dairy products, and packaging materials




- Help prevent unhygienic working conditions in the outlet

- Coordination with Counter Staff

- Work in coordination with sales/counter staff
- During rush, assist in serving and supporting front operations
- When the counter staff is on break, support as needed
- When delivery work is light, assist in outlet management and stock arrangement
- Follow instructions from the owner or manager regarding priority deliveries and support work

- Daily Responsibility and Reporting

- Inform about completed deliveries
- Report any delivery delay, missing item, or customer issue immediately
- Assist in end-of-day stock and delivery summary if required
- Report shortages, damages, leakage, or spoilage noticed during the day
- Help identify what products may need reordering for the next day

- Vehicle / Petrol Related Duties

- Use bike carefully for campus deliveries if required
- Keep record of delivery-related petrol expense if instructed
- Ensure deliveries are made efficiently so that unnecessary delay or fuel waste is avoided
- Maintain responsibility while carrying food and temperature-sensitive products

- Clean and disciplined working habits

Working Hours

- Morning 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM :

- Shop closing at 8:00 PM :

- Final 30 minutes for support in closing work, stock arrangement, and next-day preparation

Break

- 30 minutes lunch break :

- To be taken when customer rush and delivery pressure are low

- Work must continue smoothly in coordination with the other employee

Salary Structure

- As decided by employer
- Petrol reimbursement may be provided separately as per actual delivery-related expense, if applicable

Reporting To

- Owner / Manager / Proprietor of the kiosk

Job Nature

- Full time
- Operational and field-support role
- Campus delivery plus outlet support role

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
