AGM/Senior Manager - Legal

Job Type :Full time

Location :Sector 5, Salt Lake, Kolkata.

Salary :Up to 14.00 Lacs per annum depending on skills & experience.

Qualification :LLB / LLM with bar council enrolment.

Reporting to : MD & CEO.

Experience : Minimum 8+ years of experience in a Real Estate Company / reputed law firm or self-practice having expertise in Land Due Diligence , Acquisition and title verification.

Key Responsibilities :

- Liaise with various land authorities and development authorities as needed

Additional Responsibilities :

- Prepare a complete set of documents related to legal matters and send them to external counsels as necessary.

- Perform court-related activities, including attending hearings and related conferences/meetings.

- Prepare case reports and maintain an indexed file of individual cases.

- Consult individual cases with lawyers and provide assistance as required.

- Prepare reports and maintain an updated Management Information System (MIS) of legal cases.

- Perform other related duties or tasks as required from time to time.

- Build and lead a strong legal team, mentoring members to ensure skilled growth and cohesive performance.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bengali and Hindi.

- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with strong analytical and document interpretation skills.

- Knowledge of land-related laws and acts, including the Land & Land Reform Act, Land Acquisition Act, Transfer of Property Act, Hindu Succession Act and Mohamedan Law. :

- Ability to read,



understand and interpret Bengali documents and deeds.

- Solid legal acumen with the ability to independently draft various legal documents.

- Experience in litigation or arbitration, particularly with matters in the High Court, is preferred.

- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively and maintain good relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Must have a sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company's success.
