Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at my-Mitr. The CTO will lead the overall technology vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term product roadmaps. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software development teams, guiding solution architecture, and coordinating with product and business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives. The CTO will establish technical standards, security and compliance practices, and development methodologies, while mentoring engineering leaders and fostering a high-performance culture. The role also involves evaluating new technologies, managing key technical projects, and supporting decision-making on investments, infrastructure, and vendor partnerships.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Software Development experience, including modern programming practices, development frameworks, and lifecycle management.
- Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities, such as leading cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines and budgets, and driving delivery outcomes.
- Candidates should possess IT Strategy expertise, including technology roadmapping, alignment with business objectives, and governance over platforms and systems.
- Candidates should possess Architecture skills, such as designing scalable, secure, and resilient systems, and guiding implementation of cloud and integration patterns.
- Candidates should possess Product Development experience, including collaboration with product teams, user-centric design thinking, and iterative release planning.
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally as CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, security principles, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
