Role Description This full-time stitching tailor role is an on-site position based in Delhi, India. The stitching tailor will be responsible for cutting, sewing, and finishing garments according to customer measurements, design specifications, and fabric type. Daily tasks include taking and confirming measurements, performing fittings, making necessary alterations, and ensuring high-quality stitching and garment construction. The role involves interacting with customers to understand their requirements, providing basic style or fitting suggestions, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.



The stitching tailor will also help manage work orders, meet deadlines, and support colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Dressmaking and Tailoring skills for stitching, cutting, pattern handling, and garment construction.
- Candidates should possess solid Fitting skills to take accurate measurements, conduct fittings, and perform precise alterations.
- Candidates should possess effective Customer Service and Communication skills to interact respectfully with clients and understand their needs.
- Basic knowledge of different fabrics, threads, and sewing techniques, including use of industrial sewing machines and related tools.
- Attention to detail, good hand–eye coordination, and the ability to maintain consistent quality under deadlines.
- Prior experience in a tailoring shop or garment production environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks safely.
