The role

You’ll work on the theoretical foundations behind our systems: formal languages, logic, and algorithms. Then you’ll turn that theory into working code.

What you’ll do

- Design and implement parsers, grammars, and automata-based tools
- Build rule-based and logic-based reasoning and verification systems
- Analyze algorithms for correctness and complexity
- Formalize problems precisely before building solutions
- Write clean, tested, documented Python
- Take part in code reviews and technical discussions

You should have

- A strong grounding in Theory of Computation: automata,



regular and context-free languages, Turing machines, decidability
- A solid foundation in logic: propositional and first-order logic, proofs
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
- Fluent Python; Git and Linux
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup

Nice to have

- Formal methods, automated reasoning, or compiler experience
- SAT/SMT solvers (Z3), Prolog, or proof assistants (Lean, Coq)
- Computational linguistics or semantic parsing

Education

A degree in CS or Mathematics, or equivalent demonstrated work. Strong proofs and projects matter more than degrees.
