Job Title : Environmental Studies (EVS) Specialist

Job Summary : The EVS Specialist is responsible for promoting environmental awareness, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and implementing sustainability initiatives. The role involves research, monitoring, reporting, and developing strategies to minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and audits
- Monitor air, water, and soil quality
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
- Develop and implement sustainability programs
- Prepare environmental reports and documentation
- Promote waste management and pollution control practices
- Organize awareness programs and training sessions
- Collaborate with government bodies and stakeholders
- Analyze environmental data and recommend improvements
- Support green initiatives like energy conservation and recycling

Required Qualifications :





- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science / EVS / Ecology or related field
- Knowledge of environmental laws and policies
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Good communication and report-writing abilities

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with environmental monitoring tools
- GIS/remote sensing knowledge (optional but valuable)
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Project management skills

Experience :

- Fresher or 1-3 years (depending on role level)

Work Environment :

- Fieldwork + office-based work
- May involve travel for site inspections
