A Jewellery Cashier is responsible for handling billing, customer payments, invoices, cash management, and maintaining accurate transaction records in a jewellery store.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer billing and generate invoices accurately.
- Receive payments via cash, card, UPI, cheque, etc.
- Maintain daily cash register and reconcile opening/closing balance.
- Issue receipts and payment confirmations.
- Coordinate with sales staff for item codes, pricing, discounts, GST, making charges, etc.
- Maintain records of returns, exchanges, and advance bookings.
- Deposit cash safely as per company policy.
- Support customers politely during checkout.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of cash / transactions.
- Prepare daily sales reports for management.

Qualifications

- 12th Pass / Graduate preferred
- Experience in cashier role preferred
