About the job
CogniAble is seeking an Accountant to support accurate day-to-day financial operations. You'll maintain records, process transactions, and help the team stay organized with transparent, timely reporting.

1. Record and categorize financial transactions in Tally, ensuring entries are accurate and supported by appropriate documentation.
2. Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and other accounting records, keeping files orderly and up to date.
3. Reconcile bank statements and account balances, investigate discrepancies, and flag items that need follow-up.
4. Prepare and update Excel sheets for expense tracking, transaction summaries, and routine financial reports.
5. Assist with processing vendor bills and payment records, checking details and coordinating to resolve missing or inconsistent information.
6. Support the preparation of periodic financial statements and schedules by compiling figures and verifying source records.
7. Communicate clearly in spoken English with colleagues about accounting entries, payment status, and information needed to complete records. Skill(s) required
