Quality & Supplier Development Engineer – Engineering / Manufacturing company Location: Language: Fluent spoken English required

Ensure that incoming materials, outsourced components, in-process production and finished products meet approved drawings, customer specifications, purchase requirements and quality standards. The role also supports supplier quality and development, customer communication, audits, procurement coordination, documentation and continuous improvement.

Incoming quality control of raw materials, bought-out parts and components; Prepare, review and verify in-process, production and final inspection reports before release or dispatch.

Handle email communication with customers on technical, dimensional and quality matters; Prepare for customer visits, plant inspections and quality audits; organise quality records and track actions to closure.

Prepare and maintain inspection formats, quality reports, SOPs, work instructions, checklists and quality presentations.

Visit vendors to assess quality capability, resolve recurring issues and support development of recent suppliers.

Coordinate procurement of raw materials and engineering items with purchase,



stores and production teams.

Record non-conformities, support root cause analysis and CAPA, and verify effectiveness.

Monitor recurring defects, supplier rejections and customer complaints; Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience in quality inspection in an engineering or manufacturing environment preferred; candidates with hands-on inspection experience may also be considered.

Ability to read engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances and technical specifications.

Working knowledge of vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection equipment.

Familiarity with material test certificates, inspection reports, NCR and corrective-action documentation.

Basic MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and professional email communication.

Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to inspection

Good report writing, record keeping and document control

Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier/vendor locations
