Designation: Piping Sr Manager_PBEN

Position description: To oversee theworking of a project team and ensure smoothexecution of piping engineering deliverables aligned tothe Business Unit's objectives. To ensure project deliverablesare high quality, cost effective, and on time.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Undertakecontract review and requirements for piping engineering and ensuredesign basis is in line with project parameters.

2. Planactions for project cycle including documentation requirements, resource allocation,schedule planning, and work assignment for team members.

3. Ensure design,QAP, GAD documents, and detail engineering activities/ tasks are completedon schedule and in line with SOP and Praj'sQuality Management Systems.

4. Manage bottlenecksand project risk related to piping.

5. Overseeclosure of all Technical Queries Request (TQR), Design Change Request (DCR),Field Change Request (FCR).

6. Manage stakeholder relationships(customers, vendors, engineering, project management)

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Man-Hrs.Estimation, Piping Activity Planning for project execution preparation of DDIfor Piping Deliverables.

2. PipingDesign Basis preparation.

3. Work Allocation toassigned engineers Modeler as per execution plan.

4. Conduct Plot plan,Layout reviews, Model reviews coordinate with other interdisciplinaryactivities to ensure smooth execution of project.

5. Identifyrisk areas or bottlenecks, Preparing Releasing DCR (Design Change Requests) ECN (EngineeringChange Notes).

6. Enhance skills of resourcesby guiding training.

7. Conduct Periodic Progress Review.

Address reportimportant technical / procedural / execution matters tosuperior.

Educational qualifications preferred

- Degree: BE Mechanical, Diploma in Piping or Mechanical Engineering

Required work experience

- Years of experience: 10-20 yrs Piping Engineering experience and leading team of 5-10 Engineers

Required Competencies:

Technical:

1. Understandingof Contracts, Risk management, Change management

2. Core technicalknowledge in the field of Piping Engineering

3. Knowledge of DesignCodes (IS, ASME, DIN, EN), Standards Regulations

4. Conversantwith piping components dimensions / materialstandards

5. Understandingof other engineering discipline needs (Civil and Structures, Electricaland Instrumentation, Static / Rotary equipment Packages)and managing interfaces

6. Conversantwith Hygienic Piping

7. Conduct Plot plan, Layout reviews, Model reviews coordinatewith other inter-disciplinary activities to ensure smooth execution of project.
