Job Purpose

We are looking for a Storage Backup Administrator with 5-6 years of experience in managing enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud-based data protection environments. The candidate should have solid expertise in storage platforms, backup solutions, and cloud technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Administer and manage SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage platforms.
- Manage backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam, NetBackup, or Cohesity.
- Monitor backup jobs, perform restores, and ensure backup success rates.
- Implement and support DR, replication, and business continuity processes.
- Manage cloud storage and backup solutions in AWS and Azure environments.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Troubleshoot storage, backup, and cloud-related issues.
- Maintain documentation, compliance, and security standards.





Required Qualifications and Experience

- Storage: NetApp, HPE, Pure Storage, IBM Storage (or equivalent)
- Backup: Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V
- OS: Windows Server, Linux
- Scripting: PowerShell/Shell scripting
- Knowledge of DR, replication, ransomware protection, and data lifecycle management

Preferred Certifications

- VMCE (Veeam)
- NetBackup Certification
- NetApp NCDA
- Azure AZ-104
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Storage, Backup, and Cloud Administration.
