Job Summary

Expert-level Windows Server and Linux administration; mandatory infrastructure role, not DevOps; application engineering; hands-on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience required, including under urgent turnaround. AWS infrastructure depth: EC2, VPC, EBS, RDS, IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, ALB, SSL. DR/multi-cloud DR drill experience essential. Scripting PowerShell and Bash for automation of admin hardening tasks. Monitoring tools CloudWatch. BFSI audit-compliance familiarity. ServiceNow and Freshworks ITSM knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server fleets on Azure and AWS for BFSI-critical applications, including OS hardening, CIS benchmark compliance, patching, and version upgrades (e.g., Ubuntu).
- Perform L3 root-cause analysis on Azure/AWS infrastructure incidents (EC2, EBS, VPC, ALB, RDS, ECS).
- Own IAM permission set lifecycle management, least-privilege access design, and access key rotation.
- Execute Azure/AWS resource provisioning, decommissioning, and tagging governance across accounts.
- Manage Azure/AWS Secrets Manager, KMS encryption, and SSL/TLS certificate renewals.
- Drive DR/HA readiness including multi-cloud DR and switch-back drills and support RDS failover during load events.
- Administer AVD environments including rapid session host deployment under urgent audit timelines.
- Apply S3 lifecycle policies and manage storage optimization.




- Configure infrastructure monitoring CloudWatch and support performance stress testing.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Linux server fleets on cloud platforms (Azure and AWS).
- Robust experience with AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Proficiency with AWS services: EC2, VPC, EBS, RDS, IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, ALB, SSL/TLS.
- OS hardening and CIS benchmark compliance; patching and version upgrades.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis on infrastructure incidents (L3).
- Experience with IAM permission sets, least-privilege access, and access key rotation.
- Experience with resource provisioning, decommissioning, and governance across cloud accounts.
- Experience with credential and certificate management (Secrets Manager, KMS, SSL/TLS).
- Experience with DR/HA readiness, including multi-cloud DR and RDS failover support.
