Job Summary:

Responsible for end-to-end procurement of medical and non-medical items for the hospital at best price, quality and time.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily purchase of medicines, surgical consumables, lab kits, general items as per indent from departments.

Vendor development, negotiation and finalization for best rates.

Floating enquiries, preparing comparative statements (CS) and taking approval from management.

Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) in software and follow-up for timely delivery.

Coordination with Stores, Pharmacy, Biomedical, Finance for GRN and billing.

Maintain stock levels, avoid stock-out and expiry, handle emergency purchases.

Market survey for current products and cost reduction.

Ensure proper documentation and audit compliance for all purchases.

Vendor payment follow-up with accounts.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate + MBA / PGDM in Materials Management preferred2-5 Years experience in Hospital / Healthcare Purchase (Must)Knowledge of medical consumables, medicines, hospital equipmentGood negotiation, MS Excel, and ERP/HIS software knowledge
